Concerto for clarinets.

This concerto is written for clarinet choir and solo clarinet. It consists of a series of dances highlighting one of the instruments of the clarinet family in each of its five movements: Bb clarinet, bass clarinet, basset horn, piccolo clarinet, contrabass clarinet, and an encore featuring all the soloists.

The fourth movement of the concerto is a Tarantella, an Italian-inspired dance in which the piccolo clarinet uses all its playfulness and dynamism to cure the dreaded tarantula bite…
