This collection from the “Ebony” series is primarily intended for clarinetists in their second and third years of undergraduate study. It invites us to enjoy acrobatics and magic, balance, and laughter with clowns… a whole series of pieces that emphasize one fundamental element: musicality.

Thank you to the composers for accompanying me on the stage! I hope that young clarinetists and teachers will have as much fun discovering and performing these pieces as I had recording them with pianist Juliette Ciesla.
