Concerto for clarinets – FANTASIA
Concerto for clarinets.
This concerto is written for clarinet choir and solo clarinet. It consists of a series of dances highlighting one of the instruments of the clarinet family in each of its five movements: Bb clarinet, bass clarinet, basset horn, piccolo clarinet, contrabass clarinet, and an encore featuring all the soloists.
The first piece, lively and spirited, entitled Fantasia, is designed to showcase the freshness and flexibility of the Bb clarinet.
